The 120 × 20 mm Superstretch Detectaplast Plasters are high‑visibility blue, elastic wound dressings produced by Detectaplast for professional use in environments where food safety and contamination control are essential. These plasters are part of Detectaplast’s Superstretch range, featuring a highly elastic textile material that conforms to moving body parts, such as fingers and joints, making them comfortable and secure even during active work. The elasticity combined with strong adhesion ensures that the plaster remains in place without restricting movement, which is especially useful for users handling tasks in high‑movement or wet conditions.

The blue colour is intentionally chosen for its high visual detectability, since blue does not naturally occur in most foods, making the plaster easily identifiable if it becomes dislodged during food preparation or processing. Additionally, Detectaplast plasters include an aluminium foil strip beneath the absorbent wound pad, allowing them to be detected by standard metal detectors used in food safety inspection systems, a key requirement for compliance with HACCP, IFS, and BRC food‑safety protocols.
