Unlike standard detectable plasters, the Superstretch X-Ray variant is made from a very elastic textile material that conforms comfortably to moving body parts such as fingers and joints, providing a more flexible and comfortable fit during repeated motions or in high-activity environments. The plaster’s bright blue colour does not occur naturally in food, making it easy to identify visually if it becomes detached. In addition to visual detection, the plaster contains an aluminium foil strip and an X-ray detectable thread beneath the absorbent wound pad, allowing it to be identified by metal detectors and X-ray inspection systems on food production lines and packaging machinery.

The hypo-allergenic adhesive ensures strong, secure adhesion with minimal skin irritation, while the absorbent wound pad is designed not to stick to the wound during removal, reducing discomfort and protecting healing skin.
