The 6 cm × 25 m Superstretch Detectaplast plaster roll is a highly elastic, blue plaster strip designed for workplaces where hygiene, safety, and foreign-body detection are essential, especially in sectors like food processing, catering, and industrial kitchens. This product belongs to Detectaplast’s Superstretch range, which features a comfortable, flexible textile material that stretches to conform comfortably to moving body parts such as wrists, elbows, and joints. This elasticity ensures the plaster stays securely in place even during active work, reducing the risk of loosening or peeling under movement.

The blue colour is deliberately chosen because it does not naturally occur in food, making the plaster easy to see if it becomes detached during food preparation or processing. Each roll is also electromagnetically detectable thanks to the aluminium strip under the absorbent wound pad, which enables detection by standard metal detectors used in food safety checks. Together, these features help facilities comply with internationally recognised food safety standards such as HACCP, IFS, and BRC, which require strict control of foreign matter entering production lines.

The 5-metre segments typically available in shorter rolls are expanded with the 25 m length, giving food-industry, catering, and industrial-kitchen first-aid stations a versatile supply that can be cut to any required size for different wound types or body parts.
