• Open Magnet Design: This open structure makes the MRI experience more comfortable and claustrophobia-free for all patients, including children, and also allows for easy patient positioning.

• Speed & Efficiency: The system incorporates a speed-up technique, making examinations up to 35% faster compared to previous technologies.

• Low Running Costs: It utilizes a permanent magnet that guarantees uncompromised diagnostic quality with low operating costs, with an average power consumption of just 2 kW during acquisition.

• Small Footprint: Its smart, customer-friendly design means it can fit into a small space, with a magnet room requirement of approximately 20 m².

• Real-Time Display: The system offers real-time image display and features a wide, asymmetric rotating table for comfortable and easy patient positioning.

Clinical Applications

The S-scan Open is specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of practices with a high musculoskeletal (MSK) workload.

• Musculoskeletal (MSK): Its primary application is in the diagnosis and assessment of joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.

• Spine Imaging: It offers high-quality imaging for the cervical, tS-scan_OPEN_160000457MA_V2_0624_LRhoracic, and lumbar spine.

• Dynamic Examinations: The system allows for dynamic examinations to investigate specific clinical questions and provide a more comprehensive assessment of joint function.
