Shipped From Abroad Electrosurgical Pad, also known as a dispersive electrode or grounding pad, is a crucial component used in electrosurgery. It helps to complete the electrical circuit by dispersing the electrical current away from the patient's body, ensuring the safety and effective operation of the electrosurgical unit (ESU)

ContentElectrotherapy electrodes with cables are used to connect the electrodes to the electrotherapy device, allowing electrical currents to be delivered to the targeted area. These cables typically have a standard 2mm pin connector that plugs into the device and the electrodes. There are different types of cables available, such as:
  • Standard Lead Wires: These are the basic cables that come with most electrotherapy units.
  • Bifurcation Cables: These cables allow you to connect multiple electrodes to a single channel, effectively doubling the number of electrodes you can use.
  • Extended Length Cables: These are longer cables that provide more flexibility in positioning the electrodes.

Features:
  1. High Conductivity: They are made from materials that ensure efficient conduction of electrical current.
  2. Large Surface Area: This helps in dispersing the current over a wide area, reducing the risk of burns.
  3. Adhesive Backing: They usually have an adhesive side to securely attach to the patient's skin.
  4. Flexible Design: They are designed to conform to the contours of the patient's body.
  5. Safety Mechanisms: Modern pads often include features like dual-pad return electrodes for fail-safe operation.
Uses:
  1. Completing the Electrical Circuit: They act as a return path for the electrical current used in electrosurgery.
  2. Minimizing Burns: By dispersing the current, they help prevent burns at the surgical site.
  3. Ensuring Patient Safety: They are crucial for the safe operation of electrosurgical units, especially in patients with electronic implants like pacemakers.
  4. Versatile Applications: Used in various surgical procedures, including cutting, coagulating, and desiccating tissue.
Experts have identified harmful smoke which contains a variety of toxic gases and vapors will occur during electrosurgical operation. Medical staff and patients exposure to the smoke in large may cause viral contamination, respiratory problems, nausea and burning eyes.To use a smoke evacuation system is the most effective way of protecting operating room staff and patients from hazards.

Features
  • Effective smoke removal: Captures toxic gases and vapors.
  • Compact and portable: Weighs 3.5 kg with a trolley cart for easy mobility.
  • Quiet operation: Works at 55 dB.
  • High efficiency: Processes 3.5-4.2 cubic meters of smoke per hour.
  • Automatic startup: Can be activated by an internal sensor or foot switch
Features
  • High-quality tried-and-tested materials guarantee a long service life for OBS reusable electrosurgical pencils.
  • Material is durable for high temperature and high press disinfection for more than 30 times.
  • Cost compared to disposable instruments
  • The initial cost of the reusable electrosurgical pencil is easily recouped after only a fraction of the expected number of uses and compares favorably to the cost of disposable pencils.
Features

1. LED light positioned between the electrodes enhances the vision during surgery.

2. Massive area hemostasis can be performed in a short time in order to reduce intraoperative blood loss 3. Saline line and dripping device are equipped in an attempt to contain the heat on the treated tissue and avoid thermal tissue damage
Indications for Use
  • Ensure that both electrodes are in contact with the tissue to be treated. Activation and saline flow occur simultaneously.
  • Ensure that saline is flowing at the time of activation
  • These devices should never be used when:
  • There is visible evidence of damage to the exterior of the device such as cracked or damaged plastic or connector damage.
  • These devices fail the inspection described herein.
  • In the presence of flammable gases, flammable prep solutions or drapes. Oxidizing. Gases such as Nitrous Oxide (N2O), or in oxygen-riched environments.
  • Do not use monopolar electrosurgery on small appendages, as in circumcision or finger surgery.
