Description
A blood donation is usually completed after about a quarter of an hour. What plays a more important role here is the time factor needed to bring collapsing patients into shock. An unconscious patient who cannot change his sitting or arm positions must be quickly brought into the shock position. For this reason, faster shock position adjustment using a gas pressure spring is preferred over electric motor adjustment. On the blood donation chair from AGA Sanitätsartikel, the adjustment of the entire upholstered frame, including the two armrests fixed with fastening clamps, is carried out using a gas pressure spring triggered via a foot lever located under the leg section on the floor frame and easily accessible from three sides.
Characteristics
- The armrests can be adjusted and fixed in height, inclination and direction of rotation and can therefore be optimally adapted to the arm position of the donor or patient.
- The base frame, which is equipped with leveling feet, ensures a secure stand.
- The shock- and scratch-resistant covers of the column and the base frame, like all other components, are easy to clean and can be kept hygienically clean.
- The padding thicknesses of the three padding segments are:

- 90 mm for dialysis couch, order no.: DLS-1065/E.
- The maintenance-free and extremely quiet electric drive used in the dialysis couch is controlled by a hand switch (alternatively – at no extra charge – by foot switch). The adjustment system is equipped with a key lock. Connection values ​​per motor: 230V, 50/60 Hz., 3.7A, 850W, IPX4, v=11mm/s, 10,000N.
- If calf muscle cramps occur, patients can lean against the footboard supplied with the dialysis table. Thanks to the grid, this can be adjusted to the patient’s height or leg length.
