OBS-100 Electrosurgical Generator with state-of-art technology offers superb performance on the electro-surgery, and shows remarkable safety, reliability and convenience. 1. Two levels of coagulation: pinpoint coagulation and fulguration Pinpoint coagulation provides precise control of bleeding in localized areas. Fulguration provides greater control of bleeding in highly vascular over-surface areas. 2. Presets The unit incorporates as many as ten user-defined presets for easy recall of frequency and settings. 3. Isolated RF output for Cut, Blend, and Coag modes This minimizes the potential of alternate site burns. 4. Ground Referenced RF output for Fulguration modes 5. Self-diagnostics These diagnostics continually monitor the unit to ensure proper performance. If the diagnostics is unsuccessful, the warning tones can be heard.

Use Indication

This device should never be used when:

  • There is visible evidence of damage to the exterior of the device such as cracked or damaged plastic or connector damage.
  • These devices fail the inspection described herein.
  • In the presence of flammable gases, flammable prep solutions or drapes. Oxidizing. Gases such as Nitrous Oxide (N2O), or in oxygen-riched environments.
  • Do not use monopolar electrosurgery on small appendages, as in circumcision or finger surgery.
