GANSHORN Provo.X is an aerosol dosimeter that performs inhalational provocation tests very rapidly and with reproducible results, independent of a measurement lab. The threshold-controlled, breath-synchronous application of the preset aerosol dose during the inspiration phase guarantees outstanding reproducible results. This system allows direct bronchial-challenge testing in a controlled, safe, and efficient way. The aerosol dose is administered only during the patient’s inspiration phase, enhancing delivery to lower airways and optimising test consistency. Stored protocols (up to 14 stages) can be customised or use standard sets (ATS, DGP). The hardware includes a powerful compressor with a compressed-air tank for stable atomisation pressure. All components that contact the patient can be single-use, significantly reducing disinfection time and risk of cross-contamination.
