LiteWalk is a physiological medical device that mimics walking for populations with limited mobility, supporting local blood flow circulation and preventing venous stasis.
How it Works?
Proper venous blood flow in the legs is dependent to a large extent on our ability to walk. Walking activates physiological mechanisms that support the venous circulation in the lower limbs and helps drive the blood upwards towards the heart. These mechanisms prevent venous stasis and the many detrimental medical conditions that could arise from venous stasis.
The LiteWalk mimics the natural physiological mechanisms in the body. It includes a pair of unique pneumatic sandals, with inflatable chambers that are located according to the main anatomy of the foot. The LiteWalk is designed to sequentially inflate and deflate the pressure chambers in the sandals in a manner that resembles the sequence of walking, from heel to toes.
LiteWalk –Clinical Benefits
The LiteWalk is extremely comfortable, with a soothing “massage like” feeling. The user can either sit or lie down and continue with normal activity, while the LiteWalkcontinuously supports the blood flow circulation.
The LiteWalkis Intended primarily for home use for a temporary increase in local blood circulation in the lower extremities and temporary relief of minor muscle aches and pains where applied. Prevention of venous stasis is key in the attempts to avoid the detrimental pathological conditions that may arise from improper blood flow in the legs.
Who can use the LiteWalk?
Elderly populations
People with certain disabilities
Patients after surgery (particularly certain orthopedic surgeries)
People confined to bed for an extended period of time
People with limited walking ability
The LiteWalkshould not be used by people with presumptive evidence of congestive heart failure where an increase in blood returned to the heart could be detrimental, pre-existing deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or blood clots, existing hemorrhagic disease or coagulation problems, thrombophlebitis, and pulmonary embolism. It is recommended to consult with a physician whenever there is doubt whether it is clinically safe to use foot compression prophylaxis.

Features
All the features of our Total Support in a thinner, ultra-light gel insole. TPR Gel pods and forefoot pad are perfect for low-volume or minimal running shoes. Spenco Gel Total Support Insoles feature our patented 3-POD Modulation System. By positioning pods with varying degrees of hardness beneath key areas of the foot, Spenco Gel Total Support change the ground forces reaching the foot during activity. This allows for performance and comfort, while helping to reduce over-pronation. To use Spenco Gel Total Support Insoles, carefully remove the existing shoe insole. Insert the Spenco Gel Total Support insole into the shoe. Trim the front of the insole with scissors if necessary. Hand wash and air dry as needed. Spenco Gel Total Support Insoles are guaranteed for one year.
TPR Comfort Gel- Thermoplastic Rubber combines cushioning and energy return for comfort
3-POD System promotes healthy biomechanics, absorbs shock and provides cushioning through multi-density impact zones
Metatarsal Arch Support relieves pressure from the ball of the foot
Stability Cradle supports the arch and heel for greater comfort
The Spenco Gel Comfort Insole offers lasting comfort for those who are on their feet for long periods of time. An advanced triple-density design provides comfort, cushioning, and support for everyday wear. Ideal for workers, students, and travelers who are on their feet throughout the day, this insole works like an anti-fatigue mat to absorb shock and alleviate sore feet. Thermoplastic Rubber Comfort Gel, or TPR, combines cushioning and energy return to for daily comfort while metatarsal arch support relieves pressure from the ball-of-foot. A stability cradle supports the arch and heel for comfort, while also making the insole easier to place in the shoe. Softer gel in the heel absorbs impact with each heel strike by providing extra cushioning. Each insole is topped with a Silpure antimicrobial layer that eliminates odor causing bacteria and reduces friction and may be hand washed and air dried as needed. The Spenco Gel Comfort Insole comes with a one-year unconditional guarantee.
Triple Density Design comforts, cushions and supports advanced design for comfort.
TPR Comfort Gel thermoplastic rubber combines cushioning and energy return for comfort.
Metatarsal Arch Support relieves pressure from the ball-of-foot.
Top Cloth with Silpure Antimicrobial helps eliminate odor causing bacteria and reduces friction.
Stability Cradle supports the arch and heel for greater comfort. Makes it easier to place into the shoe.
Extra Heel Cushioning softer gel in the heel absorbs impact at heel strike.
All the features of our Total Support Original but with a stiffer, more rigid arch support and SpenCore Forefoot Pad. Perfect for serious athletes needing stiffer, more rigid support. Most rigid replacement insoles offer some motion control and stability but that’s where the similarity ends: Spenco Total Support Insoles feature our patented 3-PODModulation System: By positioning pods with varying degrees of hardness beneath key areas of the foot, Total Support Insoles change the ground forces reaching the foot during activity. This tunes the ride for performance and comfort while helping to reduce over-pronation, a common problem that causes foot, leg and back pain. SpencoTotal Support Insoles are unconditionally guaranteed for one year. Total Support Technology aids in the relief of symptoms caused by Plantar Fasciitis.
3-POD System promotes healthy biomechanics, absorbs shock and provides cushioning through multi-density impact zones: - Stiffer Red POD counters over-pronation - Softer Blue PODS help guide the stride
Rigid Stability Cradle provides advanced arch support, deep heel cupping and comfort through the stride
Custom EVA Layer conforms with normal wear to match the contours of the foot
Low-Friction Antimicrobial Top Cloth helps prevent blisters and control odor
Metatarsal Arch Support offloads pressure from the ball-of-foot.
SpenCore Forefoot Crash Pad provides superior cushioning and energy return to the ball-of-foot
First Ray Drop Zone allows for more efficient, natural toe-off promoting a healthy stride
Forefoot Perforations increase flexibility and airflow for lasting comfort

Features
In order to avoid rocking and swinging movements of the lying surfaces, the therapy tables are manufactured with precision double square profiles.
The manual height adjustment is done with a hand crank using maintenance-free gear with an optimal transmission ratio (i = 10mm/rev) for smooth, quick and easy operation, without much effort, even with heavier patients (up to 150 kg). After use, the crank handle can be pushed back under the tabletop.
The hydraulic height adjustment is operated via the centrally built-in foot pump. The height adjustment of the therapy table can of course also be done with heavier patients (up to 150 kg) without any major effort. In order to be able to operate the hydraulics from both sides, it is possible to install an additional foot lever. This is available for an additional charge (Article No.: FPH-10).
The electric motor height adjustment is controlled via a hand switch (alternatively - at no extra charge - via a foot switch) and can of course also be carried out with heavy patients (up to 150 kg). The electric drive used is maintenance-free and extremely quiet. The adjustment system is equipped with a key lock. Motor connection values: 230V, 50/60 Hz., 3.7A, 850W, IPX4, v=11mm/s, 10,000N.
The wide extension of the substructure, which is equipped with a mobile base on retractable castors ensures a high level of stability, even under stress load.
With the retractable castors system, the universal therapy table is lifted onto castors (Ø 75 mm) using foot control or lowered onto feet for standing.
The thickness of the seven upholstery segments (armrests, head, back, seat and leg sections) is 64 mm each.
