The BrainsWay Deep TMS H7 Coil is a flexible coil used in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to stimulate the brain’s medial prefrontal cortex and anterior cingulate cortex:
The H7 Coil stimulates the anterior cingulate cortex and the medial prefrontal cortex. Treatment is designed to regulate the CSTC circuit believed to be involved in the inhibition of impulsive behavior. A sham coil is integrated above the treatment coil.

What it does
The H7 Coil is FDA-cleared to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It can also be used to treat other neuropsychiatric disorders, such as addiction, major depressive disorder, and autism spectrum disorder.Â

How it works
TMS uses magnetic pulses to induce an electrical current in the brain’s neuronal tissue. The H7 Coil is integrated into a cooled, cushioned helmet that allows the patient to move around during treatment.Â
