Thermostable Plastic Cryoboxes

The latest CAPP Expell plastic cryoboxes feature extended thermostability for better sample storage and easier sterilization. With a sturdy polypropylene construction, CAPP plastic cryoboxes can be safely used at temperatures as low as -196⁰C without chipping or cracking. This provides an excellent holding container for cryotubes holding several types of samples. After use, CAPP Expell plastic cryoboxes can be sterilized by autoclaving at +121⁰C for 20 minutes without losing form. This lessens the chances of cross-contamination between different sample batches and creates peace of mind for scientists across the board.

Supplied in 5 different heights (32 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 80 mm and 90 mm), Expell plastic cryoboxes are designed to accommodate cryotubes ranging from 0.5 ml at the small end and 5 ml at the high-end. CAPP Expell plastic cryoboxes feature two grid options for extra flexibility. Expell plastic cryoboxes with the standard 9×9 grid are universally compatible with a broad range of cryotubes from several leading brands on the market. On the other hand, Expell plastic cryoboxes with a 10×10 grid are specially designed for maximum compatibility with CAPP’s streamlined external thread Expell Cryotubes. With Expell 10×10 plastic cryoboxes scientists have up to 23% more storage using up extra storage space in their freezer.

Designed for the real world, CAPP Expell plastic cryoboxes have innovative features that make the user experience more seamless and exciting. Equipped with star-foot locking mechanisms at the base of each well, CAPP Expell plastic cryoboxes enable the one-handed opening of cryotubes eliminating the need to pull samples out of the box. The lids of these unique plastic cryoboxes feature an intuitive numerical coding that serves as a handy sample index that will not rub off easily. CAPP Expell plastic cryoboxes also feature slanted edges that help users to position the lid correctly, eliminating the chances of incorrectly indexing sample tubes.

The iiSM VPism-C Vein Probe - Compact Unit is a compact, non-invasive infrared device to view blood vessels just beneath the skin. Includes a camera, touchscreen display, connector cable, power supply, camera stand, gooseneck arm, and instruction manual. This handheld, portable device is lightweight and includes the touchscreen and camera with attached clip. The camera can be removed and handled by hand, or can clip to the touchscreen unit for a hands-free experience. The back of the device also has a kickstand, so that physicians can stand the device on its own. The VPism-C can also be mounted to an armrest, if a patient needs to be stationary, or attached to a SLism-F Specialized Light Source for patients with deeper vessels.
