Description

Features

Biological indicators are test systems containing viable microorganisms providing a defined resistance to a specific sterilization process.
A biological indicator provides information on whether necessary conditions were met to kill a specified number of microorganisms for a given sterilization process, providing a level of confidence in the process.
4A Steam Biological Indicator (3h and 24h) is specifically designed for the monitoring steam sterilization processes at 121 – 134 °C. The final readout of a processed biological indicator with respect to the indicator type should be made after 3 hours (4ARSBI) or 24h (4ASBI) of incubation at 60+/- 2 °C.
