The Braidin™ TIPS Transjugular Liver Access Set is engineered for transjugular intrahepatic access during TIPS procedures to reduce portal vein pressure in patients with portal hypertension. It features:

A hydrophilic distal sheath designed for low-friction insertion, improving device navigation through vascular and hepatic structures.
A trocar stylet with enhanced stiffness and a sharp tip for efficient portal vein puncture.
A segmented stiffening cannula that balances proximal support and distal flexibility, enabling precise shaping and controlled access.

The Braidin™ TIPS Transjugular Liver Access Set is used for transjugular intrahepatic puncture of the hepatic portal vein, performing portal venous intrahepatic shunt surgery to reduce portal vein pressure.
