A high-throughput microbial identification & antibiotic susceptibility-testing system that integrates species-level pathogen ID with AST (antibiotic susceptibility testing) to support clinical microbiology, hospital infection control, and lab diagnostics of bacterial & fungal pathogens.
Typically 10-21 working days – excluding furniture and heavy/bulky equipment. Please contact us for further information.
Description
This Microbial ID & AST Analysis System is designed for modern microbiology laboratories to identify and characterise pathogens (bacteria & fungi) and perform antibiotic susceptibility testing in one workflow. The system supports species-level identification, delivers MIC or S/I/R interpretation according to current guidelines (e.g., Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute / European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing), and interfaces with LIS/WHONET for data management. It is particularly useful for high-volume labs handling emerging antibiotic resistance (MRSA, ESBL, VRE, etc.) and hospital infection surveillance.
Key Features
-
Species- and subspecies-level pathogen identification (bacteria, yeast/fungi)
-
Antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) with MIC or equivalent interpretation
-
Large antibiotic panel (200+ antibiotics) or broad coverage expected
-
Automated reading and reporting, likely colourimetric/turbidimetric or similar detection methods
-
Connectivity to LIS/HIS and WHONET databases for epidemiological tracking
-
High-throughput output suitable for hospital microbiology departments
-
Supports resistance-mechanism detection (e.g., ESBL, MRSA, VRE)

| In stock Nikon SMZ745 Stereoscopic Microscope: Featuring a zoom magnification of 7.5X and a long working distance of 115mm, Nikon SMZ745 microscopes are well suited for both industrial and biomedical applications. The adoption of a new total reflection prism produces brighter images with higher contrast, and the anti-mold design allows the microscope to be used in environments where the temperature and humidity are high. The SMZ-745T trinocular model comes equipped with a microscope camera port and a built-in 0.55x c-mount adapter, permitting direct mounting of Nikon DS Series Digital Cameras. Delivery & Availability: Typically 2 working days – excluding furniture and heavy/bulky equipment. Please contact us for further information. | In stock The BA210 series is a line of basic biological microscopes manufactured by Motic. The unit is equipped with Motic Infinity Optics (CCIS®, offering quality performance in the fields of education and training. The device features a coaxial coarse and fine housing with a quadruple reverse-mounted nose piece. Its contrast methods, such as phase contrast, polarization and dark field, are easily performed through optional accessories. Unlike traditional ESR methodologies that measure the aggregation of the red blood cells indirectly, the iSED measures it directly and expresses the values in mm/hr.
