Description

The RVS-100 Vital Signs Monitor

The device has ‘Monitor‘, ‘Spot Check‘, and ‘Triage‘ profile options, as well as a ‘Demo’ mode.

Continuous Monitoring is designed for monitoring patients over time and includes physiological and technical alarms. Spot Check is designed for taking a single set of vital signs measurements on a patient. Patient information can be entered and managed, and while technical alarms are still available, physiological alarms are disabled. Triage is designed for rapidly taking vital signs measurements on many patients. Patient information is disabled, in addition to physiological alarms. ‘Demo’ mode demonstrates how each measurement mode works.1

Advantages of the RVS-100

The aim of the EWS is to improve patient outcomes by identifying at-risk patients who need urgent medical attention and intervening early to prevent clinical deterioration. This system involves the assignment of numeric values to several physiologic parameters (i.e., temperature, respiratory rate, Spo2). RVS-100 can be programmed with NEWS (National Early Warning Scores), MEWS (Modified Early Warning Scores), and also has 5 customisable profiles which can be set by the end-user if they have different parameter values.

Features and Benefits

Hardware

  • Large 8“ full HD colour TFT-LCD screen displays large numbers and bright colour-coded parameters so that vital signs can be seen clearly and interpreted easily.
  • The screen is visible in both dark and lit rooms.
  • The touch screen and intuitive user interface make it quick and easy for patient information to be entered and settings amended as required.
  • The modular design is chosen by the customer around their needs, starting with the choice between a table/mobile stand or wall-mounted, through to the optional accessories like a printer.
  • Can be plugged into the mains or powered from the battery for 17 hours
  • Riester is committed to providing reliable clinical measurements, including the choice of SpO2: Riester or Nellcor

Software

  • RVS-100 is programmed with EWS: NEWS, MEWS, and 5 customisable profiles, which can be set by the end-user if they have bespoke requirements.
  • Serve a large patient population with the ability to save up to 1000 patient records, with up to 5000 measurements per patient.
  • Can be used on all patient types: adult, paediatric, and neonate.
  • RVS-100 can communicate through a wired or wireless connection to the hospital’s EMR/EHR, according to the HL7 standard.3
  • Software languages available: Chinese, Danish, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish (Europe), and Traditional Chinese.

The Classic III stethoscope brings new design, materials, and technology to the Littmann stethoscope series that’s been used and trusted by millions of medical professionals worldwide for decades. With a two-sided chestpiece, dual tunable diaphragms, improved tubing, and much more, the Classic III stethoscope combines the best of new and traditional. Full adult and pediatric auscultation is available through its dual head chestpiece simply by rotating the central spline to alternate between the two sides. The more compact one piece diaphragm and rim assemblies have further increased acoustic sensitivity. The binaurals have been redesigned with larger diameter ear tubes and a thicker single lumen binaural to transfer sound more effectively. The selector spline is now recessed to allow a flush fit with the binaural tube and now features a visual indicator for easy identification of the operational diaphragm. Features
  • NEW: double-sided, dual diaphragm chestpiece for both adult and paediatric assessment.
  • NEW: The paediatric side is also easily transformed into a traditional open bell by replacing the single-piece diaphragm with the supplied non-chill rim.
  • NEW: chestpiece is precision-machined into an aesthetically pleasing, less angular shape.
  • NEW: single-piece diaphragm instead of separate diaphragm/rim making it easier to attach and easier to clean due to the smooth unbroken surface.
  • NEW: The stem features an open side indicator to easily identify which diaphragm is in operation.
  • NEW: next-generation tubing gives even longer tube life with improved resistance to skin oils, alcohol and staining.
  • 3M’s ‘Tunable Technology’ lets you easily switch from low to high frequency sounds by switching from light to firm pressure on both the adult and paediatric sides of the chestpiece.
  • High acoustic sensitivity when performing general physical assessment.
  • Laser engraving of text and symbols to personalise your scope and avoid theft/loss
  • Larger ear tubes on the anatomically designed headset comfortably positioned for better sound transfer. Easy adjustment by simply squeezing or pulling apart the eartubes.
  • Comfortable Snap-Tight soft seal eartips create an excellent acoustic seal to reduce ambient noise.
  • No natural rubber latex or phthalate plasticisers are used in the tubing or any other component—to help protect health and the environment.
  • Complement your personal style with Littmann’s large range of chestpiece finishes and tubing colours.
  • Used as a diagnostic aid as part of the physical assessment of a patient.

Our Neeo “C” arms are easy to place, use and are specifically designed to be used in orthopedics, traumatology, abdominal surgery, urology, cardiology and operating rooms. Using Neeo with the RTP (Real Time Processing) option it is possible to perform vascular, urological and cardiological diagnostics. One of the main functions, digital image subtraction, allows to see, as an example, the passage of contrast liquids in a tissue or in a venous or arterial duct; thanks to the possibility of looping, the acquired video can be reproduced several times to monitor more accurately the passage of the fluid within the area in question. Angiographic measurement is another useful function in the vascular field (QA Quantitative Angiography) that allows the measurement of stenoses. Finally, fluoroscopy allows the correct positioning of stents or expanders. Neeo is used in various interventional and diagnostic procedures in traumatology and orthopedics wards and operating rooms as well. Thanks to low-dose fluoroscopy, it is possible to use the device for positioning bone or subcutaneous grafts, inserting K-wire (Kirschner wire) for stabilization of bone fragments or for the correct positioning of prostheses. The low dose emitted ensures safe use for both the patient and the surgeon or doctor on the operating field. On the control panel there is a large touch screen display that allows to adjust the basic functions of the equipment. From this display it is possible to select and adjust the fluoroscopic data for the examination, activate or deactivate the laser pointer, select between pulsed, one shot or standard fluoroscopy, rotate the image and perform all operations on collimator. The four side buttons on the display offer the possibility to move the bow vertically thanks to an extremely silent motor. Neeo has two 19 “medical grade monitors that can be positioned according to the needs of the medical practitioner. Work monitors and feedback monitors are separated to be managed independently. The possible movements are: rotation, revolution, tilting and possibility of height adjustment. Features:
  • Continuous fluoroscopy
  • Pulsed fluorography
  • One Shot fluoroscopy
  • Low dose fluoroscopy
