Therapy information

vocaSTIM® is a concept for the diagnosis, therapy and therapy process control of larynx pareses. Following anamnesis, diagnosis and instruction by a doctor or therapist, the patient can normally continue autonomous therapy or voice training independently. Process control is carried out at regular intervals by the attendant therapist.

Standardised therapy with Neuro Muscular Electro Phonatory Stimulation (NMEPS) according to Prof. Pahn is based on electrostimulation of the damaged musculature in the form of intentional exercises. While the patient attempts to trigger voluntary contraction, at the same time, a supporting electric pulse is triggered manually be means of a manual release key. The current parameters used are determined by a diagnostic procedure which is carried out initially and as part of therapy progress control. The parameters are customised exactly to the indication and degree of damage.

Traction Machine The Traction Unit is the result of thousands of feedbacks from tens of thousands of physiotherapists over the past decade. Instead of a touch screen LCD panel and working through complicated windows, physiotherapists recommended the ease-to-adjust "HOLD" and "REST" knobs as they have been proven to be one of the fastest and effective ways of adjustments of traction force during treatment. The "HOLD" and "REST TIME" can be adjusted in real-time as well as the FORCE. Once set, press "START" and the new setting will take effect in the next coming cycle. The unit is equipped with a "Patient Switch" for full control of an Emergency Situation, all at the hands of a patient. Delivery & Availability: Typically 14-21 working days – excluding furniture and heavy/bulky equipment. Please contact us for further information.

All the features of our Total Support Original but with a stiffer, more rigid arch support and SpenCore Forefoot Pad. Perfect for serious athletes needing stiffer, more rigid support. Most rigid replacement insoles offer some motion control and stability but that’s where the similarity ends: Spenco Total Support Insoles feature our patented 3-PODModulation System: By positioning pods with varying degrees of hardness beneath key areas of the foot, Total Support Insoles change the ground forces reaching the foot during activity. This tunes the ride for performance and comfort while helping to reduce over-pronation, a common problem that causes foot, leg and back pain. SpencoTotal Support Insoles are unconditionally guaranteed for one year. Total Support Technology aids in the relief of symptoms caused by Plantar Fasciitis.
  • 3-POD System promotes healthy biomechanics, absorbs shock and provides cushioning through multi-density impact zones: - Stiffer Red POD counters over-pronation - Softer Blue PODS help guide the stride
  • Rigid Stability Cradle provides advanced arch support, deep heel cupping and comfort through the stride
  • Custom EVA Layer conforms with normal wear to match the contours of the foot
  • Low-Friction Antimicrobial Top Cloth helps prevent blisters and control odor
  • Metatarsal Arch Support offloads pressure from the ball-of-foot.
  • SpenCore Forefoot Crash Pad provides superior cushioning and energy return to the ball-of-foot
  • First Ray Drop Zone allows for more efficient, natural toe-off promoting a healthy stride
  • Forefoot Perforations increase flexibility and airflow for lasting comfort
