Description

Full Description & Features
  • Full Automation — The system automatically handles loading the test card, aspirating sample, mixing, incubation and read-out. It identifies reagent cards and matches consumables, reads sample barcodes and stores patient data, eliminating multiple manual steps.

  • Multi-Sample & High Throughput — Supports direct injection from original blood tubes (no need for pre-processing or cap removal). It can process undiluted whole blood, serum or plasma. Up to 40 samples can be loaded at once; continuous orbital injection supports large workloads. The system can process up to 300 tests/hour.

  • Multi-Test-Card Capability — Each card can test 1 to 8 parameters simultaneously (depending on the test panel), enabling multi-panel diagnostics in a single run. Up to 240 test cards can be loaded at once — ideal for batch testing or high-volume labs.

  • Emergency / Priority Sample Handling — System supports priority processing for emergency samples without disrupting the queue.

  • Integrated Data & Workflow Management — Supports connection with hospital/lab information systems (LIS/HIS), with bidirectional data transmission. User interface is touchscreen-based, with real-time monitoring of reactions, consumables, and quality control.

  • Safe & Efficient Sample Handling — Puncture-sampling system enables direct sampling from blood tubes without cap removal — reducing risk of aerosol generation and cross-contamination, improving safety for operators.

  • Versatile Test Coverage — As part of KOFA’s POCT & diagnostic ecosystem, MA-III supports wide diagnostic panels including inflammation markers (e.g. CRP), cardiac markers (e.g. troponin), coagulation markers (e.g. D-dimer), diabetes markers (e.g. HbA1c), and other immunoassays depending on the reagent test-cards used.

Typical Use-Cases & Applications
  • Hospital clinical labs — for emergency, ICU, cardiology, general medicine, outpatient and routine diagnostics.

  • Small / remote clinics lacking full-size laboratory infrastructure — enabling point-of-care diagnostics with lab-grade accuracy.

  • Private diagnostic centers or third-party labs needing flexible, multi-panel testing with fast turnaround.

  • Mobile/outreach health services, screening campaigns, or any setup requiring compact, automated immunoassay testing without heavy lab overhead.
