Therapy information

Therapy with microwaves is classified as high frequency therapy. What the different frequencies of high frequency therapy have in common is that they generate heat in the tissue.

Microwaves are applied using the so-called radiation field method. This involves emitting bundled electromagnetic waves to the tissue via emitters (of different sizes and shapes depending on the application). The energy of these waves is directly absorbed in the tissue and converted into heat.

The penetration depth of microwaves is lower than that of short waves. Microwave therapy is preferably used when local warmth of the muscles or connective tissue structures (such as ligaments, tendons, capsules, etc.) is desired.

Selected use cases

Microwave therapy has an extremely wide range of applications. It is ideal for treating, among other things:

  • Osteoarthritis (knee joint)
  • Sciatica, chronic
  • Tendonitis
  • Herniated disc with radiculopathy
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Tendopathy

The Spenco Golf Insole is a breakthrough in golfing gear, designed to tackle common challenges faced by golfers. It stabilizes the foot during swings, crucial for consistent and accurate shots. The lateral friction pad prevents foot slippage, a common issue during the downswing, enhancing swing accuracy and stability. The Cobra heel support ensures optimal weight distribution throughout the backswing, leading to a more precise downswing. For comfort, the insole is equipped with forefoot and heel cushioning, providing essential support and shock absorption. This reduces fatigue, especially important for golfers who spend extended periods walking the course. The Wave Grip Foam secures the insole within the shoe, further aiding stability. Additionally, the trim-to-fit design allows for a customized fit, preventing discomfort and potential foot issues. The golf-themed top cover not only adds aesthetic appeal but also instills confidence, reinforcing the insole's quality. The Spenco Golf Insole addresses critical aspects of the golf game: stability, accuracy, comfort, and endurance. It's more than just an accessory; it's an essential tool for golfers aiming to enhance their performance and enjoy a more comfortable game.
  • Enhanced Swing Stability and Accuracy: Features like the lateral friction pad and Cobra heel support work together to stabilize the foot during the golf swing, preventing slippage and ensuring proper weight distribution for more accurate and powerful shots.
  • Improved Balance and Control: The insole's design is focused on improving balance and control during the swing, which is crucial for consistent performance and a better golfing experience.
  • Comfort and Fatigue Reduction: Equipped with forefoot and heel cushioning, the insole provides comfort and shock absorption, reducing fatigue and keeping feet and joints fresh during long hours on the golf course.
  • Customizable Fit for Enhanced Comfort: The trim-to-fit sizing allows golfers to tailor the insole to their specific foot size, ensuring a perfect fit and preventing common foot issues like blisters and discomfort.
  • The Insoles come with a golf-themed top cover and not only assures quality and performance but also boosts the golfer's confidence in their equipment.

Features
  • In order to avoid rocking and swinging movements of the lying surfaces, the therapy tables are manufactured with precision double square profiles.
  • The manual height adjustment is done with a hand crank using maintenance-free gear with an optimal transmission ratio (i = 10mm/rev) for smooth, quick and easy operation, without much effort, even with heavier patients (up to 150 kg). After use, the crank handle can be pushed back under the tabletop.
  • The hydraulic height adjustment is operated via the centrally built-in foot pump. The height adjustment of the therapy table can of course also be done with heavier patients (up to 150 kg) without any major effort. In order to be able to operate the hydraulics from both sides, it is possible to install an additional foot lever. This is available for an additional charge (Article No.: FPH-10).
  • The electric motor height adjustment is controlled via a hand switch (alternatively - at no extra charge - via a foot switch) and can of course also be carried out with heavy patients (up to 150 kg). The electric drive used is maintenance-free and extremely quiet. The adjustment system is equipped with a key lock. Motor connection values: 230V, 50/60 Hz., 3.7A, 850W, IPX4, v=11mm/s, 10,000N.
  • The wide extension of the substructure, which is equipped with a mobile base on retractable castors ensures a high level of stability, even under stress load.
  • With the retractable castors system, the universal therapy table is lifted onto castors (Ø 75 mm) using foot control or lowered onto feet for standing.
  • The thickness of the seven upholstery segments (armrests, head, back, seat and leg sections) is 64 mm each.
