The S-scan Open features an innovative design and technology aimed at superior image quality and a streamlined user experience:

• Open Magnet Design: This open structure makes the MRI experience more comfortable and claustrophobia-free for all patients, including children, and also allows for easy patient positioning.

• Speed & Efficiency: The system incorporates a speed-up technique, making examinations up to 35% faster compared to previous technologies.

• Low Running Costs: It utilizes a permanent magnet that guarantees uncompromised diagnostic quality with low operating costs, with an average power consumption of just 2 kW during acquisition.

• Small Footprint: Its smart, customer-friendly design means it can fit into a small space, with a magnet room requirement of approximately 20 m².

• Real-Time Display: The system offers real-time image display and features a wide, asymmetric rotating table for comfortable and easy patient positioning.

Clinical Applications

The S-scan Open is specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of practices with a high musculoskeletal (MSK) workload.

• Musculoskeletal (MSK): Its primary application is in the diagnosis and assessment of joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.

• Spine Imaging: It offers high-quality imaging for the cervical, tS-scan_OPEN_160000457MA_V2_0624_LRhoracic, and lumbar spine.

• Dynamic Examinations: The system allows for dynamic examinations to investigate specific clinical questions and provide a more comprehensive assessment of joint function.

Coils (Probe Types)

The system supports 14 multi-purpose coils (transducers) to maximize sensitivity and resolution for the specific anatomies being examined.

• PBT-6 is a 4 way Motorized Tabletop with Elevating feature (66cm). A large tabletop with extended travel enables all radiography studies with minimal patient movement. Fully fat tabletop without a frame on the edge makes cleanliness and odors free
• Automatic Stitching - GXR-SD system provides outstanding automatic stitching function with Source tilting method
• Digital Flat Panel Detector (FPD) – Wireless 17X14 (Csl, 4336W) with Auto Exposure Detection (AED) function, there is no DR trigger cable between detector and generator.
• Full Featured Imaging Software & Excellent Digital Image Processing:
