ArterioGraph 24 is the most comprehensive and only device to measure the complex parameters of arterial function simultaneously for 24 hours. Beyond the traditional blood pressure values Arteriograph 24 provides aortic Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV), Augmentation Index (Aix) and central systolic blood pressure (SBPao) data.
This special combination of a 24hour ABPM and the most professional, state-of-the-art solution for measuring vascular age – the Arteriograph – incorporates all the best advantages of the well-known techniques. It reveals the day and night-time behaviour of the peripheral and central hemodynamic parameters in order to the assessment of vascular age. The measured data can be transferred, stored and analyzed on a PC allowing a complete evaluation of arterial function (stiffness).
- Arteriograph 24 is indicated in the next clinical conditions:
- “White coat” effect of the patient (more stress from the patient towards the examination)
- Considerable discrepancy between the observed arterial function results with Arteriograph and the patient’s clinical status. E.g. the patient is very young, but shows considerably abnormal stiffness parameters, or the patient is a known atherosclerotic subjects with a lot of diseases, and a very normal arterial function.
- Studying the diurnal rhythm of the arterial function parameters
- Studying the behaviour of the arterial stiffness in real life conditions.
